BNRC Mission Statement
The mission of Bedford Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is to respect the rights of residents for independence, personal choice, dignity, and participation in decisions affecting his/her lifestyle. We recognize that residents are special people from diverse cultural backgrounds who deserve meaningful engagement, person centered quality care and a lifestyle that promotes self-worth and enjoyment of life. Our facility strives to achieve a balance between the short-term rehabilitative services and long-term care in a home-like environment for our residents. BNRC values the leadership and expertise of our staff through empowerment that will lead to excellence in service.
Committed to Caring
Bedford Nursing & Rehabilitation Center (BNRC) is a family owned long term care and short term rehabilitation facility located in the Town of Bedford, New Hampshire. Originally known as Bedford Nursing Home, the facility was acquired by Norman and Elizabeth Turcotte in 1972. Their son, John Turcotte, assumed full ownership and management control of BNRC in 2014. At that time, the facility was in a distressed condition and on the verge of being shut down by the State of New Hampshire. Working closely with a select group of highly skilled healthcare professionals, John immediately began improving all aspects of the facility affecting the quality of care and quality of life of our residents, including nursing and rehabilitative care, dining services, life enhancement and social services. As a result of these efforts, we are proud to announce that the the last three annual inspections of BNRC conducted by the State of New Hampshire were deficiency free, and in 2020 BNRC achieved a Five Star Quality Rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
John and every member of the BNRC team remain committed to continuing to improve the services we offer and the quality of life of each of our residents in a happy, safe and friendly environment.
